Privacy Policy v1.0

Effective date: April 13, 2026  |  VARO Industries

TL;DR: We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information. Your network data is fetched in real time, displayed in your browser, and never sent to or stored on our servers.

What this site does

technolust.us is a network information tool. When you visit, your browser makes requests to several third-party APIs to retrieve and display information about your internet connection — including your public IP address, approximate location, ISP, ASN, and related network data. All of this happens client-side, in your browser.

Data we collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not operate a backend server that logs your IP address or any other data. The only information retained locally is your theme preference (light or dark mode), which is stored in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted to us or anyone else.

Third-party APIs

To display network information, your browser connects directly to the following third-party services. Each request is made from your browser to their servers — we do not proxy or log these requests.

Each of these services may log your IP address as part of normal server operations, subject to their own privacy policies linked above. We have no control over and take no responsibility for their data practices.

WebRTC

The "Information for Nerds" section uses the WebRTC API built into your browser to detect local network IP addresses (e.g., 192.168.x.x). This information is displayed only in your browser and is never transmitted to us. You can disable WebRTC in your browser settings or via browser extensions if you wish to prevent this detection.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies. Theme preference is stored in localStorage, which is a browser-side storage mechanism that is not transmitted with HTTP requests and is not accessible to third parties.

Advertising

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings. For more information, see Google's advertising policies.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. All policy changes are noted in the site changelog.
